How Breathwork Improves Fitness and Stamina
Enhanced Oxygen Delivery: Breathwork increases the efficiency of oxygen uptake and delivery to muscles, improving their function and endurance during exercise.

Stress Reduction: Reducing stress through breathwork helps lower cortisol levels, which can otherwise negatively impact muscle recovery and growth.
Better Energy Utilization: Efficient breathing techniques enable your body to use energy more effectively, reducing fatigue and increasing stamina.
Breathwork Techniques for Enhanced Fitness
Diaphragmatic Breathing: Engaging the diaphragm for deeper, more efficient breaths helps maximize oxygen intake and strengthens the respiratory muscles.
Box Breathing: Involving a structured pattern of inhaling, holding, exhaling, and pausing, box breathing can improve lung capacity and focus.
Alternate Nostril Breathing: This technique balances oxygen intake and calms the nervous system, enhancing overall performance.
Breath Holds: Practicing intermittent hypoxia, or brief breath holds, can train your body to use oxygen more efficiently and increase resilience to physical stress.
Incorporating breathwork into your fitness routine can lead to significant improvements in your physical performance. STYLES OF BREATHWORK
SOMA Breath
This breathing session is guided in person or online with music which has been specifically created to awaken the higher senses and activate dormant brain parts. The breath is a tool used to access to higher self and expand conscious awareness. With a focus on the science of breath work in combination with ancient spiritual teachings, you can expect to completely transform your health in mind, body and spirit. The breath is the life giver, the main driver of the body we inhabit but we have never been shown how to breathe consciously.
Reclaim your breath and reclaim your life! There are so many studies which show the proven benefits of breath work and how it can assist in our healing and longevity, as well as regulating any chemical imbalances which can lead to anxiety or depression.
Trauma Release
The body and subconscious has its own intelligence and can hold on to old emotions and store tension without us having any conscious awareness. Cortisol is inflammatory and is the stress hormone that is released when the fight & flight response is activated. If we do not learn how to regulate the nervous system after stressful or emotional events take place, the build up of inflammation can later on lead to illness and disease.
Release old emotions & trauma stored in the subconscious mind and cellular body.
Conscious Connected Breathing
This is a powerful and safe way to infuse the body with oxygen and energy, recharging our own (often depleted) systems to work to their healing capacity. There are over 200 health conditions linked to dysfunctional breathing habits which we work on to reverse and correct, change your breath & change your life! Life coaching programmes with personalised breathing sessions are created to help you achieve your goals & reclaim your health.
These sessions are run in person and are generally over a period of which time dependant on the individuals current requirements and breathing habits.
